As we prepare for the inauguration of the Stupa, we warmly invite everyone to participate in every step of the process of completing the Stupa and the preparation of the course. Below you will find important information about how life is organised in Stupkalnis BEFORE the inauguration of the Stupa (starting July 23 until September 21, 2022).
Please let us know the date of your arrival for the Course preparation and register here

- For those who are coming for more than 5 days, the discount will be applied and the price will be 12 eur/day.
- Price per day without meals – 5 eur

Accommodation (July 23 – September 21, 2022)
The big house will be open until September 5, 2022. Until then – gompa in the big house and your own tent are available for accommodation, please bring your own sleeping mat and mattress with you (a tent, if you need). Please take warm clothes, raincoats, rubber boots, etc.
If you have special accommodation requirements (for example, health issues, etc.), please write to email@example.com. Please mind we have really limited space to provide, but we will see what we can do.
On September 6, 2022 accommodation in the big house will be limited, thus self-camping (tents, caravans) in the Stupkalnis or renting a place in the surroundings will be the best option.
We start and close the day with common XVI Karmapa meditation at 9 am and 9 pm.
TsaTsa and mantra workshops are running every day. Other preparations for stupa are organised according to the instructions of the lama.
Skills and talents
Those who have special skills with maintenance works (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc.), we have plenty of work for you – please let us know.
For people with general skills, there is lots of joyful work to do as well: cooking, cleaning, cutting grass, etc.
Gifts for the Stupa
In case you want to bring anything, we are still collecting jewels and precious stones. Of course, money is always a good gift.
A shuttle from Kryžkalnis may be provided depending on demand and possibilities, please drop an email 2 hours before arrival, provided below. Price – 10 eur one way.
Keep in mind, that the nearest ATM is located 20 km away from Stupkalnis, thus make sure to have enough cash to pay for the shuttle, accommodation in the nearby village, beverages and an extra cup of coffee, dharmashop, etc.
